Marcus White
Party leader Marcus White is standing in Clacton on one of the most extensive and unconventional policy platforms in the election, proposing major changes to taxation, business, education, immigration, law, parenting and the structure of society itself.
Overview
Marcus White is the founder and leader of the Everyone is God Party and is standing in the Clacton parliamentary by-election on 13 August 2026.
Who is Marcus White?
White describes himself as a life coach, entrepreneur, political leader and polymath. He says he grew up in a farming family and spent much of his childhood working around agriculture, animals and building work.
He says he studied Physics at Oxford University and later taught maths and physics.
His own biography also describes experience running manufacturing and construction businesses, alongside independent study of politics, economics, psychology and spirituality.
White lives in Dorset and works closely with his partner Rosie Morrell, who is described by the party as its Ambassador for Human Relations.
Empower Everyone.
Solve Everything.
Fulfil Every Dream.
The party describes its programme as a complete attempt to redesign society rather than a conventional collection of individual manifesto pledges.
"Everyone is God"?
The party name obviously needs some explanation.
The party says it is not a religion
Despite the name, Everyone is God explicitly states that it is not a religious party and describes itself as neither a religion nor a cult.
White says the name is intended to express the idea that every individual has inherent value and should be empowered to believe in their own ability to solve problems and shape society.
Psychology, personal development and ideas about human behaviour run throughout the party's political programme.
A registered political party
Everyone is God is not simply a campaign slogan. It is a political party that has been accepted for registration and Marcus White is its leader.
The party publishes a large collection of detailed policies on its own website and is actively seeking members, campaigners and candidates in constituencies across Britain.
Empower Everyone. Solve Everything. Fulfil Every Dream.
The party's stated mission. Its policies are built around the argument that political problems cannot be solved without changing the human behaviour and social structures that produce them.
Background
Much of White's personal background comes from his own published biography and should therefore be understood as candidate-supplied information.
Farming Background
White says he was born into a farming family and grew up working with animals, on the land and on construction projects around the farm.
Oxford Physics
White states that he has a degree in Physics from Oxford University and later worked teaching maths and physics.
Business
He describes having run manufacturing and construction businesses and now also works in life and business coaching.
Life Coaching
White operates a separate personal-development website describing his work in holistic life coaching, relationships and personal development.
Party Founder
White says he created Everyone is God with Rosie Morrell before the 2024 General Election and subsequently developed its extensive national policy programme.
West Dorset
White contested West Dorset as an Independent at the 2024 General Election before standing under his party banner in Clacton in 2026.
What Does He Actually Propose?
Unlike some minor-party candidates in this election, White has published a very large policy programme. These are some of its most significant proposals.
£2 Trillion GDP Growth
The party argues that major structural reforms could increase UK GDP by around £2 trillion, including a stated ambition to approximately double GDP per person through greater economic efficiency.
Replace Tax With "Cost"
White proposes replacing the conventional tax and spending model with what the party calls a cost-based system, intended to show each person clearly what public services cost and where their contributions are spent.
Parenting & Education
The party argues that parenting and education are the root of many wider social problems and proposes redesigning education around individual strengths, confidence, practical experience and lifelong learning.
Legal Migration, Stop Illegal Boats
White's policy supports legal immigration and cultural diversity while seeking a stable or slightly declining population, employment arranged before entry where possible, secure borders and an end to illegal small-boat crossings.
Simplify Business
His economic programme seeks substantially less complexity for businesses, easier start-up and trading conditions, greater government support, higher productivity and lower administrative costs.
Green Infrastructure
The party argues that a much more productive economy is necessary to generate the investment required to replace polluting infrastructure with cleaner technology.
Fulfilling Work
White wants work to be safer, less stressful and more personally fulfilling, while increasing productivity and encouraging people to work in areas matching their skills.
Rehabilitation
His party publishes separate criminal justice and prison rehabilitation policies, with an emphasis on addressing behaviour and underlying causes alongside punishment.
Radical System Change
White does not present his programme as a series of small reforms. The party explicitly proposes reconstructing major parts of Britain's social, economic and political systems.
A Particularly Radical Legal Policy
White's proposed reform of civil law has attracted outside attention during the Clacton campaign.
One solicitor instead of two?
Everyone is God's legal policy challenges the conventional assumption that parties in a civil dispute necessarily have conflicting interests.
It proposes replacing adversarial representation in many disputes with a single solicitor acting within a unified process intended to identify a fair solution for everyone involved.
White argues that this could dramatically reduce legal costs, delay and confrontation.
Highly controversial
The proposal has attracted criticism from within the legal sector because conventional legal practice regards independent representation and the management of conflicts of interest as important protections for clients.
RollOnFriday highlighted White's proposal during the Clacton campaign and described the scale of the proposed change as radical.
Political Position
Everyone is God does not fit neatly onto a conventional left-versus-right scale.
Politically mixed
The party combines positions often associated with different parts of the political spectrum.
It supports cultural diversity and legal migration, while also advocating much tighter control of illegal migration and population growth. It argues for substantial economic freedom and simplification while also calling for government involvement in reshaping workplaces, education, morality and social behaviour.
Its defining characteristic is therefore better described as radical systemic politics rather than conventional left, centre or right politics.
