Clacton By-Election, Thursday 13 August 2026

34 Candidates. Clacton Should Hear From All of Them.

Much of the local and national coverage has concentrated on Nigel Farage and Count Binface. There are another 32 names on the ballot, including independents, smaller parties, local campaigners and unusual protest candidates.

Clacton.org supports Vote Martyn OBrien. We are not pretending otherwise. Supporting one candidate does not mean hiding the others. Residents should be able to see who is standing, what each candidate says they stand for and where to find out more.

About policy filters: These themes are identified from published candidate material, websites, statements and public sources where we could identify them. They may be incomplete or inaccurate and should not be treated as a complete or candidate-approved policy list unless the candidate has provided or confirmed the information. No tag does not mean the candidate opposes that issue.
